Pineapple Cilantro Marinade

I’m in love…in love with this marinade.  Marinades often go hand in hand with BBQing, and at our house, the BBQ is fired up all year long.  The incredible chefs at Green Valley Spa whipped this up for me last week, so I had to try a batch out on my own.  Can you say amazing?  Say it with me.  Amazing.

You only need 6  ingredients:

1 Small Pineapple
Water
1 cup Bragg’s Liquid Aminos (like soy sauce minus the sodium)
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup Chopped Cilantro
5 Truvia Packets

Start by dicing up the Pineapple into small pieces.  Place in large blender and fill about 1/3 – 1/2 way up with water.  Blend until smooth.

Dump pineapple blend in a large bowl.  Add in all other ingredients and stir until blended.   That’s it.  It really is that simple.  Marinade beef or chicken kabobs, steak, chicken breast, fish, tofu, etc…

If you have a LARGE pineapple, increase the amount of ingredients as follows:  2 cups liquid aminos, 1 cup honey, 1/3 cup cilantro, 10 packets truvia.
