Homemade Corn Chips in 4 easy steps

Making your own corn chips instead of buying them at the store has never been easier….or tastier!  They taste better than store bought chips, are better for you and are cheaper.

Four easy steps…

1.  Cut a corn tortilla into triangles with pizza cutter.  I get 8 triangles out of one tortilla.

2.  Spray cookie sheet lightly with cooking spray and layer tortilla triangles in single layer on sheet.  (I layer my cookie sheet with tinfoil because I don’t like to wash dishes.  Just being honest here.)

3.  Spray triangles lightly with cooking spray and sprinkle with seasoning of choice.  I have used Mrs. Dash, Season All or a granulated garlic.

4. Bake in oven at 450 degrees for 15 – 20 minutes until brown and crispy.  (unless you like a softer chip then shorten baking time.)

Easy peasy!   Tomorrow I will share the delicious salsa we made for dinner this week that went along with these chips.  Warning….you’ll want to eat it all weekend long. Perfect for Labor Day!
