I was recently reintroduced to these overly large grapes and immediately fell in love with them again. Look how big and beautiful they are! And my kids are gobbling them up like crazy.
They are called Holiday Grapes and are only available for a few weeks from late October into early November (which means you better get your butt in gear and go get some!) At this time of year, they are far superior to other varieties of grapes. Supposedly, they maintain their superiority because the growers go through a labor-intensive process of hand pruning, cleaning and harvesting this very special grape.
One of my favorite ways to consume these beauties (and any grape for that matter) that I learned from my Real Life friends, is to sprinkle them with cinnamon and then put them in the freezer. Super yummy!
